Dr. Fortenberry is a 1983 graduate of the University of Texas Health
Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. He is also a member of the
American Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic
Dentistry. Dr. Fortenberry has dedicated his career to providing you with
the best that dentistry has to offer. He is continually educating himself
and his staff on the newest techniques and approaches to provide you with
advanced, antiseptic, comfortable and personalized dental care.
Meet our Saturday Staff
Marcia
Marcia has been practicing dental hygiene after graduating from the
University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1984.
She maintains current CPR status and has at least 16 hours of
continuing education each year. Marcia grew up in Dallas, lived
in San Antonio and has resided in Sugar Land, Texas since 1990 with
her husband and 2 daughters. Marcia has been part of our staff for
3 years. Her work days are Monday thru Thursday.
Brenda
Brenda is a Registered Dental Hygienist from Wharton Junior College
with 24 years experience. In addition, she also has a B.A. from
Texas A&M University in College Station. She has been a part of our
dental staff for the past 13 years. She enjoys helping patients
achieve and maintain their optimum dental health. Her work days are
Tuesday and Thursday. On her time off she enjoys gardening and
spending time with her husband and daughter.
Sharon
Sharon received her degree from Wharton Junior College as a Registered
Dental Hygienist with 24 years experience. She has been a part of our
dental team for 10 years. During which time she left to have her
family and we are very pleased to say she has rejoined our team. She
enjoys helping patients achieve and maintain good dental health. Her
work days are Wednesdays. During her time off from work she
is busy running her 4 children around to their busy activities.
Mellisa
Mellisa is a Registered Dental Assistant which includes licenses in
Radiology, Infection Control and Jurisprudence with 11 years experience
of which 7 years have been with Dr. Fortenberry. She maintains a CPR
certification and 16 continuing education hours each year. She loves
to help patients calm their anxiety of dentistry. During her time off
of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and is busy running
her 4 children around to their different activities.
Lydia
Lydia is also a Registered Dental Assistant which includes licenses in
Radiology, Infection Control and Jurisprudence with 31 years experience.
She has been a part of our dental team for 12 years. Lydia is an
integral part our dental team. She always has a smile when she answers
your telephone call to either set up an appointment or simply have a
question and is always there to greet you when you walk in to our office
for your dental appointment. She also assists with patients during
dental procedures when needed. She maintains a CPR certification and 16
continuing education hours each year. During her time off she enjoys
spending time with her family.
Lora
Lora grew up in Corpus Christi and moved to Houston in 1981. She has 26
years experience in dental assistance and front office management. She
has been part of our dental team for the past 11 years as office manager. She maintains CPR certification and 16 continuing education hours each year. She enjoys every aspect of her job. During her time off she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and 2 daughters.
